im not sure if im the only one who realized this but the vanishing drive "technically" doesn't work like how they say it works on ep 14. they say they need to notice kagami but when kuroko tested the move with momoi kagami wasn't anywhere to be seen (as i remember) and when he tested it with kagami, how is kagami supposed to be noticed by himself. it doesn't make sense.. The " Vanishing Drive " is another misdirection, and like the first invisibility misdirection, it's probably something people can do in real life against a defender, but everyone else in the arena would obviously still be able to see the player.
Aomine stops the Vanishing Drive At the start of the second quarter, Kuroko attempts to break past Aomine with Vanishing Drive, but Aomine closes his eyes and relies on his past relationship with Kuroko to quickly stop Kuroko from passing him. Kuroko tries another Ignite Pass Kai through Aomine, but the latter stops it with one hand. Upon seeing this bad situation, Kuroko gets subbed out. How.. The first time we were introduced to the "Vanishing Drive" was when Kuroko used it on Momoi when he was walking her home. Later on, this move was explained as Kuroko misdirecting his opponent's gaze to Kagami and ducking in a weird way making it seem like he vanished. So how did he do it on Momoi without having to misdirect her gaze to another player?
