Public Works Projects are a feature in the Animal Crossing series. These projects allow the Mayor to customize their Town by adding decorations. Public Works Projects become available after the Mayor achieves 100% mayoral approval. Each town can feature 30 projects at maximum, and only one project can be under construction at any given time. Lloid is in charge of taking donations for projects.. Shops/Facilities [edit | edit source] Some shops on the Main Street and around town can only be unlocked by completing the relevant Public Works Project. These projects should be a higher priority than others as they open up a new aspect of gameplay. Note that for projects that are situated on the Main Street, Lloid will be collecting funds at the train station.
