Aod Transmission Wiring Diagram

The AOD does not require any wiring to be hooked up. The wiring is for what was stated earlier (Nuetral switch, reverse light). What you do need is a kickdown bar going from your carb to the valve body (there is a small lever above the shift linkage) in order to open up the valve body. chevy uses vaccuum, Ford used mechanical.. Have Diagram I've got a wiring diagram for an 89 with an AOD - I should be ble to find it tomorrow (thurs) and answer you. Basically, there's (I believe) two wires going to the speed sensor and the rest to the neutral safety switch. I think the speed sensor wires are green and orange, or orange and white, but I'll find that diagram in the garage
