1. Check your ASUS software suite. Look for an application named "ASUS MyASUS," "ASUS Touchpad," or something similar. 2. Launch the software and navigate to the touchpad settings section. 3. Locate the option to disable the touchpad. This may be a toggle switch, a checkbox, or a dedicated "Disable Touchpad" button.. I have the ASUS Zenbook Duo Pro and an external numpad, and for some reason using the external numpad makes the ASUS touchpad numpad blink with every press. I tried deleting the ASUS touchpad numpad's driver. Big Mistake, because touching the numlock on the ASUS touchpad caused my laptop to crash to Blue Screen every time. Not with this method.
