2016 Malibu I know the USB port is underneath the radio portion in the car. Anyone know of an easy way to put one in the console.. Apparently the rear USB ports are charge-only. I just tried it.. Chevy Malibu Forum is the best place for owners of the sedan to connect with the community and discuss MPG, mods, and more... I don't think the parasitic draw of the LED charge port light is a very valid criticism tbh. I'm sure a draw of a couple watts for up to maybe a few minutes is going to be fairly miniscule compared to the draw of say your audio system or something. Especially since it's only going to turn on when you open the charge port.
