slightly different question for my 2018 3.6- My trip reset no longer seems to function. Can't switch between A-B or reset either. This is true with car on, off, or in accessory mode.. 2018 White Outback Touring 2.5i with Subaru OE splash guards, body side molding, moon roof & side window deflectors, remote starter, 19mm rear sway bar.. My 2025 Legacy model does not have the button (my two older Subarus did have the buttton) - I've been studying the books the came with this new "computer" but so far haven't been able to find the trip meter reset. Hope someone answers this question.
#1 · Jan 15, 2023. Back on the road after a long lay off for new engine, etc. Trying to reset trip odometer and either I forgot how or it is not working properly. Thought it was the rectangular black button to the right of the odometer, but does not seem to do anything.. Subaru Outback Forums 233K members. Starlink Talk 320 members.. On the left side of the gauge cluster there is a nob that sticks out. If your odo displays trip A push it once and it will switch to trip B. Hold for like three or five seconds and it'll reset to 0. All of your averages like mpg and the fuel economy gauge will read 0 until you've drive one mile since it was reset.
