James Bobin's lackluster 'Alice' sequel is a mercenary backward step for Disney's live-action excavations of its animated back catalog.. A great turn by franchise newcomer Sacha Baron Cohen as Time and excellent 3D conversion makes for a complete wonder of a movie.
Alice (Mia Wasikowska) returns to the whimsical world of Underland and travels back in time to save the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp).. I am touch-typing this review. Wish me luck. "Alice Through the Looking Glass," in which Mia Wasikowska's Alice travels into the past to prevent the Jabberwocky from roasting the parents of the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp), is a sequel to Tim Burton 's 2010 film " Alice in Wonderland." Burton is not involved with this one.
