Rivers Cuomo performed at T.T. the Bear's Place in Cambridge, Massachusetts on November 21, 1997. This is one of two shows wherein Cuomo performed "Homie" material, a side-project featuring songs written roughly contemporaneously with Weezer's Pinkerton that were determined not to fit that album's tone.. In 1995, after the album cycle for the first Weezer album, and after he was fitted with a device to lengthen one of his legs, Rivers Cuomo enrolled at Harvard University.
